'GRAPPING MINI DRESS'

 The design.
Inspired by the boxing hand-strapping, this mini dress has been designed all-in-one to be wrapped easily on the body in one only gesture. The design merges a strong traditional kimono to an ultra soft and silky top. The mono strap of the top structures the folding of the kimono and creates an emphasize grappling effect on the collar. The design is implanted by traditional kimono high-end stitching details such as padded shoulders and one piece back. It is made out of an high quality twill gabardine and closes consistently with a solid belt prolonging the reinforced collar and alternatively hiding or showing around the waist. As a unique runway piece, it brings to light the moment of dressing.

 
The making.
This bold design will be made on order in Sample-cm’s Berlin atelier according to luxury standards. It is enhanced on the shoulder by the 'GB2021CLUB' signature embroidery in vintage finish and Sample-cm ribbons on the backwards.

Color : ivory.
Composition : 90% cotton. 10% viscose.
Care : hand-washing.
(All fabrics are pre-washed to avoid any shrinking.)
